Cherry and smoke flavours are hugely popular in Japan, here we have the two combined. Expertly infused in water this liquid delivers a powerful aroma of smoked cherry wood and blossom using only very small amounts.
One or two tablespoons will flavour one litre of water which can be sprayed on fish or meat dishes as they go into the oven. Brush onto foil used to wrap meat or fish for a wonderful smoked cherry fragrance as this dish is served. Add drops to marinades, sauces and stews. A light spray of the flavoured water also works wonders as a finishing touch to a cocktail..
