Dried Donko Shiitake 50g
Shiitake mushrooms are a classic of Japanese cuisine. These Donko Shiitake are characterised by their round shape and thick flesh which gives them a pleasantly chewy texture and meaty flavour. Ideal for boiling and frying, the flavour is rich and perfumed.
Soak in a refrigerated, covered bowl of water for 12-24 hours before cooking. Strain the water used to rehydrate the mushrooms and boil to create a dashi stock.
