An inspired idea from the masters of Black Rice Vinegar, Kakuida Fukuyama Kurozu. A condiment made of black vinegar! The vinegar is simmered with garlic, onion, ginger, hot chilli peppers, sansho, sake, soy sauce and raw cane sugar until it reduces to a gloriously sticky and flavour packed paste.
A fantastic combination to be added anywhere sweet & sour flavours are required. Ideal with stir fried vegetables, grilled meat, gyoza and stir fries. So spicy it comes with a manufacturer’s warning not to use when preparing dishes for children!
