Special Soy Sauce
A pack of three premium soy sauces, all are made according to traditional recipes using authentic techniques. Each soy is aged in cedar barrels for a rich, balanced umami flavour.
Kamebeshi 3 year aged soy sauce: Traditionally made, using only 4 natural ingredients, this is soy sauce of perfect balance, delicately combining acidity, sweetness, saltiness and rich umami. Aged for at least 3 years in 100 year old cedar barrels to add depth and character of the highest quality. The flavour and balance of Kamebishi soy sauces rely on the exact replication of a process 250 years old and diligently overseen by the Okada family right up to the 17th generation of today.
Organic soy sauce: A premium quality soy sauce made from whole organic soya beans, aged in traditional cedar casks for a minimum of one year according to a recipe passed down through four generations of the Yugeta family. The rich aroma and perfect balance enhances the flavour of sushi and sashimi and creates a superb marinade for vegetables and meat.
Yuzu soy sauce: A delicious combination of freshly squeezed yuzu juice and premium quality soy sauce made from whole soya beans aged in cedar casks. The skilled craftsmen of the Yugeta family carefully combine umami and citrus using the powerful aroma of yuzu with the rich depth of authentic soy sauce. The result is a flavour that is the very essence of Japanese cusine. Use as a sumptuous dip for sushi and sashimi, to enhance dressings, sauces and marinades.
