This beautiful tea cup has an unusual matte black body with a bright turquoise rim which adds a lovely pop of colour. It also features a textured glaze around the top of the cup, adding to the unique design. Although described as a tea cup, it can also be used for espresso coffee and sake so it is an extremely versatile addition to your drinkware collection
Crafted from 'Minoyaki' porcelainware, the cup undergoes a meticulous process that includes firing at high temperatures, a time-honored technique from Gifu prefecture, Japan. Due to the hand finished artisan nature of these cups, slight irregularities in size, glaze, and texture, ensures each one is an individual and unique piece.
