Made by infusing Nishiyoshino plum into Sake and Shochu, with pulp and fresh plums. Torotoro No Umeshu translates as "thick plum wine". Fully ripened plum paste is combined into Umeshu made from steeping local green plums into traditional rice Shochu. Drink straight, on the rocks or in cocktail recipes. Tasting notes: Sweet 4/5; Light 1/5
Aotan No Yuzushu 50ml, abv 8%
Made by infusing Yuzu juice in Sake and distilled alcohol. A strong fragrance of yuzu citrus with its natural oil extract makes this yuzu liqueur thick in texture and yet refreshing in taste. Enjoy straight up, on the rocks or with soda water. Also perfect in margarita recipes. Tasting notes: Sour 3/5; Heavy 2/5
Matsuni Tsuru Whisky Umeshu 50ml, abv 25%
Made by infusing Nara plums into a mix of whisky, sake and shochu. The whiskey flavour really shine through this Umeshu with los of smoke and underlying hints of plum. The label features a crane and an evergreen pine, both of which symbolise good fortune and longevity in Japan. Take it on the rocks or as a degistiv. Tasting notes: Sweet 1/5; Heavy 5/5
