Our wasabi powder is made from real fresh English wasabi (Wasabia japonica) grown on our Hampshire farm in flowing spring water, carefully replicating the mountain stream conditions of Japan where wild wasabi thrives.

Freeze-drying locks in the vibrant flavour and signature pungency of freshly grated wasabi, so you can enjoy authentic Japanese heat at home, quickly and conveniently.

Unlike typical western “wasabi,” which is often just horseradish and colouring, our powder contains genuine wasabi root blended with Japanese horseradish and mustard, delivering the classic sharp, aromatic kick of authentic wasabi.

Whilst there is no replacement for the taste of fresh wasabi, our powder is a good substitute, it keeps for longer, and lets you enjoy the unmistakable flavour of Japan in minutes.

How to Use

To make wasabi paste: Mix equal parts powder and water (1:1). Let it rest for 3–5 minutes for the flavour and pungency to develop. Paste remains at its peak for around 30 minutes.

Classic pairings: Serve alongside sushi, sashimi, or seafood for an authentic Japanese experience.

Cooking and seasoning: Sprinkle or mix into grilled fish, seafood, meat, noodles, or vegetables for a fresh, aromatic kick.

Available in 23g.

Store in a cool dry place.
