Frequently asked questions

Definitely. Our starter sets and tasting collections are a brilliant way to introduce someone to Japanese flavours without overwhelming them. Simple, delicious, and great fun to experiment with.

If your recipient is more inclined to enjoy eating Japanese food rather than cooking it, then why not present them with a gorgeous set of Japanese bowls?

Absolutely. Add your message at checkout and we’ll make sure it’s included with your gift. You just can’t add emojis to your personalised message.

Not to worry. If you’d prefer to let your lucky recipient choose their own gift, we do offer ‘The Wasabi Company’ gift cards. The smallest amount you can add is £10, or you can treat them all the way up to the value of £250. If you would like to gift a voucher with a different amount than is listed, please get in touch with us at hello@thewasabicompany.co.uk.

We have a number of delivery options available depending on how fast you need your gift to arrive. Our standard delivery costs £3.95 and is dispatched with Royal Mail Tracked 48. Orders received by 11am on weekdays are dispatched the same day, whereas orders received later may be dispatched the next working day.

For a speedier service, you can select our next day tracked service with DHL, which costs £5.95 and is typically delivered the next day. Delivery will be between 9am and 5pm, and a signature will be required.  Why not buy a few gifts for different people – delivery is free for orders over £75!

If your chosen Japanese gift contains wasabi, not to worry! Our fresh wasabi is harvested to order and shipped in insulated packaging to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.

Leading up to Christmas, we offer a deferred delivery service whereby orders containing fresh produce (such as fresh wasabi) can be placed in advance and we’ll send them out to arrive just before Christmas – so they’re in top condition for gifting.

We do deliver to selected countries! Please check our Delivery page for more details and options.
