I wouldn't have believed the beauty of this set by looking at it. Opening the plastic wrapper is a beautiful experience because the cedar wood smell is wonderful. The Washi paper label is exceptional and has a reusable glue like a stickie note, so the unwrapping is a Wabi-Sabi experience in gracefulness. The hashi, box and design are a Japanese experience in itself. I look forward to using the actual hashi, however I am savoring the thoughtfulness of the total package and it so reminds me of my stays in Nippon.
