Frequently asked questions

Our watercress is grown across three farm sites: Dorset, Hampshire and Spain. Each location uses pure, mineral-rich spring water and traditional methods that date back generations. Because it’s harvested by hand, the flavour is full-bodied and seasonal, just as nature intended.

We leave our watercress unwashed to give you maximum freshness and shelf life. Once watercress is washed, it begins to deteriorate more quickly. By keeping it dry and chilled, it stays crisp and lively for much longer. All you have to do is rinse it at home before eating. It’s the same approach that helps top restaurants keep their greens fresh!

Store watercress in the fridge, ideally in its original bag, sealed tightly and kept cold. If the leaves start to droop, a quick rinse in cold water will help refresh them. Because it’s a delicate crop, we only dispatch from Monday to Thursday to avoid weekend delays. For urgent Saturday delivery, order before 11am on Friday and choose Royal Mail Special Delivery at checkout.

Watercress is versatile and packed with flavour. Use it fresh in salads, stir it into pasta sauces or soups for a slight peppery kick, or blend it into smoothies and pestos. It also makes a fantastic garnish.
