Frequently asked questions

Our range runs from small side plates around 12–15 cm across to large sashimi and serving platters up to 36 cm long. Exact dimensions are listed on each product page, and most now include an image with measurements marked on it.

Most of our porcelain and stoneware plates are both microwave and dishwasher safe. Some hand-glazed or rough-textured pieces need gentler care, so check the product description before you buy.

Porcelain is thinner, smoother and lighter, and is a good match for delicate dishes like sashimi. Stoneware is heavier with a rougher, more textured surface that suits rustic or earthy presentations. Both are durable enough for daily use.
