About our Japanese Sake collection>
Commonly found in Japanese restaurants and served in traditional sake cups, this drink is a big part of Japanese life. Our Japanese sake range has been carefully selected from five of the finest brewers in Japan. Boasting well over a thousand years of sake production between them, these are masters of their art.
Choose from a pure rice Junmai, a highly polished Daiginjo, a balanced Ginjo, a flavoursome Honjozo or a fruit filled Umeshu or Yuzushu and discover the world of sake.
How is Japanese Sake made?
Most sake is made by fermenting rice - hence often being referred to as “Japanese Rice Wine”. However, the fermentation process is very different from any other alcoholic beverage, meaning you can taste a flavour completely unique to Japanese culture.
