Seaweed
Try Premium Japanese Seaweed | Buy Kombu, Nori and Wakame Seaweed Salad
Seaweed is an integral part of Japanese cuisine. From nori-wrapped sushi and dashi broth flavoured with kombu, to wakame in salads and miso soup, a wide variety of edible seaweeds feature in many common Japanese recipes.
We only stock the highest quality seaweed imported from Japan. Our Rishiri kombu, for instance, is harvested from the Rishiri Island of Hokkaïdo, known as the best kombu in Japan. Our aromatic Sanpuku nori comes from the Ariake sea, and can be enjoyed roasted or unroasted.
As well as adding umami flavour to Japanese food, seaweed is full of vitamins and minerals such as iron, calcium and magnesium. Create authentic Japanese soups, flavoured rice, sushi and more with our range of premium seaweed. Always store seaweed in a cool, dry place.
