With the current global Coronavirus pandemic causing a significant impact across all business sectors, we want to keep you updated with our current operating hours and safety measures.
The Wasabi Company are still operating under normal hours (outlines below) and shipping as normal via both Royal Mail and DHL express shipments.
We will continue to fulfil all orders as normal.
Please be assured that in addition to our already high hygiene and safety standards, we have put in place extra measures on site to ensure the health and wellbeing of our staff and customers is maintained in these difficult and complex times.
Daily staff briefings take place to cover updates on the situation, all changes to government guidelines regarding hand and respiratory hygiene, and symptoms of Coronavirus are communicated to staff.
Any operational changes required are discussed with the whole team before being agreed and put in place.
Hand sanitisers are available to all staff in multiple locations and hand washing and sanitising is a requirement following all breaks and following any movement beyond the room in which their tasks are carried out.

PLEASE TICK THE “GIFT” BOX AT CHECKOUT AND WE WILL WRAP THE BOX IN PLASTIC TO PROTECT IT IN TRANSIT.
INSIDE THE WRAP THE BOX WILL BE UNSEALED SO FRESH ITEMS CAN BE REMOVED, REFRIGERATED AND REPLACED IF NECESSARY.

Express UK delivery is FREE on all orders over £50 (Mainland UK only, excludes Highlands & Islands)
Orders under 2kg & under £50 are sent 1st Class Royal Mail - £3.95 (No tracking)
Orders over 2kg & under £50 are sent Express Delivery with DHL Next Day by 5pm – £5.95 (Tracked)
Upgrade any order that does not qualify for FREE Express Delivery for £5.95
All orders received by 12pm Monday to Thursday will be dispatched the same day.
Orders received after 12pm may be dispatched the next working day.
Orders containing fresh items (fresh wasabi, leaf, flowers, plants, yuzu, yuzu trees)
placed after 12pm Thursday will be dispatched the following Monday.
Express UK Delivery - DHL Next Day by 5pm service.
Tracking information will be sent to the email address you supply. You can use this to track your parcel and schedule the delivery if necessary.
These deliveries will require a signature on arrival
1st Class Royal Mail delivery – 1-2 Day service
These are not tracked. Additional delivery instructions can be entered in the “Special delivery instructions” box during checkout to indicate to the postman what you would like done with the parcel should nobody be present at the address. We cannot guarantee the postman will follow these instructions! We therefore recommend you send to an address where somebody will be there to receive it.

Orders can be placed online for delivery throughout the European Union. These will be sent Monday - Wednesday on a 1-2 day service with DHL. Tracking information will be emailed upon dispatch.
Deliveries to all EU countries have a standard charge of £25. Some EU locations are classed as remote by our transport provider and these will occur a further charge that will be emailed to you for settlement prior to dispatching the order. If you would like to check if you are in a remote location and to know the cost before ordering please email your address.
For destinations outside the EU please contact us either by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling us on +44 (0)1929 463824. We are prohibited from sending plants or fresh wasabi to USA by local import regulations.
