Shipping policy

All orders are packed and shipped in our presentation box, simply purchase the items you would like to add to the box and we will do the rest.

Your invoice will not be included in the box, you can view this in the My Account section of the website or download from the button at the bottom of your order confirmation.

Due to our courier not delivering on weekends, orders with perishable items placed after 11am on Thursday will be sent the following Monday.

To ensure adequate protection for your order during transit, if your basket is over 2kg in weight or contains fresh wasabi, watercress, plants, ceramics, trees or a single item over £75 value then we can only ship using our express, signed for delivery service.

DHL Express Delivery – £5.95

  • 1-2 Day Tracked Service*
  • Signature required, delivery 9am – 5pm
  • Protected items are dispatched Mon-Thursday only
  • All orders received by 11am will be dispatched the same day*
  • Orders received after 11am may be dispatched the next working day

* In the majority of cases, orders will be received next day, however DHL specify this service as a 1-2 day delivery so there may be occasion when the order is not received until the following day. You will be sent a Shipping Confirmation with tracking number to allow you to confirm this. 

Standard Delivery - £3.95

  • 2-3 day non-tracked service with Royal Mail
  • All orders received by 11am Monday to Friday will be dispatched the same day.
  • Orders received after 11am may be dispatched the next working day.

Additional delivery instructions can be entered in the “Special delivery instructions” box during checkout to indicate to the delivering agent what you would like done with the parcel should nobody be present at the address. We cannot guarantee the agent will follow these instructions! We recommend you send to an address where somebody will be there to receive it.

While we endeavour to dispatch all orders received before 11am on the same day, if we are experiencing an unusually high volume of orders, it may be sent the following day.

Deliveries to UK Islands & Highlands, there are 3 rates available:

  1. Royal Mail Standard 2nd Class: £3.95, if your basket is under 2kg in weight and does NOT contain fresh wasabi, watercress, plants, ceramics, trees or a single item over £75 value, all other orders:
  2. Parcel Force Recorded: £15, this is the Express24 service but extended delivery times may apply depending on address, please see here for Parcel Force information
  3. DHL Express: calculated using DHL live carrier rates and will appear at checkout when you enter your delivery address, 1-2 day tracked service

Channel Islands: deliveries are calculated using DHL live carrier rates and will appear at checkout when you enter your delivery address.  Please note, we can only send two bottles of alcohol per order to the Channel Islands.

United States: deliveries are calculated are calculated using DHL live carrier rates and are shown when you enter your delivery address.  However, please note that the USDA has determined it illegal to import plants/fresh produce to the US due to customs restrictions and so you will not be able to check out if you have any of these items in your shopping basket. All the shelf stable/ambient products are available for purchase.  In case of any doubt, please contact us.

EU Delivery: we are very pleased to announce our partnership with Dutch Wasabi based in Amsterdam, meaning we can now fulfil all EU orders again following Brexit. So to order your fresh wasabi, our own Wasabi Label products and much more, please CLICK HERE to visit the website.
