Shipping policy
Orders placed before 11am (Monday–Friday) will be dispatched the same day.
Please note: Fresh products ordered after 11am on a Thursday will not be dispatched until Monday unless DPD Saturday Delivery is selected at checkout.
Orders over 2kg, over £150 in value, or containing selected ceramics, fresh wasabi or plants will automatically be sent via DPD. Deliveries to the UK Highlands & Islands will be sent via Royal Mail Tracked 24.
Depending on your delivery address, we offer seven delivery options:
Free Delivery:
Is automatically applied to all orders over £75 with UK delivery addresses. Excludes Next Day by 12pm and Saturday delivery options.
Royal Mail Tracked 48:
A cost-effective tracked delivery option for orders under 2kg and/or under £150, aiming to deliver within 2 working days (including Saturdays) from dispatch. Note that this service is not guaranteed within that timeframe.
* Please note:
- due to the risk of spoiling, orders containing fresh produce cannot be shipped using Tracked48.
- to avoid breakages, ceramics such as (but not limited to) udon bowls, ramen bowls, plates and donabe dishes cannot be shipped using Tracked48.
- also, for maximum protection, orders over 2kg total weight or more than £150 total value, can only be shipped with DPD.
DPD Next Day:
A fast, trackable, and reliable option, with three services: Next Day, Next Day by 12pm and Saturday delivery.
Royal Mail Tracked 24 (UK Highlands & Islands only):
A priority tracked service aiming to deliver within 1 working day (including Saturdays) from dispatch. Note that this service is not guaranteed within that timeframe.
Pick up in store:
This facility is available to local customers who wish to collect their orders directly from our distribution centre. Orders placed Monday to Thursday 11am can be collected next day between 8.30am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. There is no collection available at weekends, so orders placed after 11am Friday will be ready the following Monday.
Canada:
Deliveries are calculated using DHL live carrier rates and are shown when you enter your delivery address. Please note that the AAFC has determined it illegal to import plants/fresh produce due to customs restrictions and so you will not be able to check out if you have any of these items in your shopping basket. All the shelf stable/ambient products are available for purchase. In case of any doubt, please contact us.
EU Delivery:
Since Brexit we do not ship to the EU. You will find fresh wasabi, our Wasabi Label products and many of our imported Japanese ingredients at Dutch Wasabi based in Amsterdam, please CLICK HERE to visit the website.
All other delivery destinations:

Unbranded Packaging:
Select this option in shopping basket to have no branding on the outer packaging

Your invoice will not be included in the box, you can view this in the My Account section of the website or download from the button at the bottom of your order and/or shipping confirmations.
While we endeavour to dispatch all orders received before 11am on the same day, if we are experiencing an unusually high volume of orders, it may be sent the following day.
