Ceramic Seiji Sake Warmer

A traditional, beautifully crafted set specifically designed for the enjoyment of warm sake, which can enhance both the flavour and the experience of this traditional Japanese drink. The set is composed of three robust parts, each thoughtfully designed to ensure the sake is heated to perfection while maintaining aesthetic appeal. The set is crafted from ceramic with a Seiji glaze, which is known for its beautiful, soft greenish-blue hue.

Bottle (Tokkuri): The set includes a traditional sake bottle, or tokkuri, where the sake is held. The bottle is designed to retain heat, allowing the sake to warm evenly without overheating, ensuring the flavours are brought out beautifully.

Water Bath: This part of the set is where the tokkuri is placed. The vessel is filled with warm water to gently warm the sake in the tokkuri, which allows for a controlled and even heating process that preserves the sake's delicate flavours.

Firebox (Tealight Holder): The firebox is a small compartment that holds a tealight candle. The gentle heat from the tealight warms the water in the vessel, which in turn heats the sake in the tokkuri. This method of indirect heating is traditional and helps to prevent the sake from becoming too hot, which can ruin its flavour.
