All the thick, satisfying texture of classic udon noodles with none of the gluten. Over 75 years’ experience producing every kind of noodle meant Toa Foods were well placed to create udon noodles free from gluten. Rice flour and potato starch combine to mimic the soft but chewy nature of classic udon noodles.
Eaten both hot and cold, udon can be flavoured with soy based sauces (see our gluten free soy), in miso soup or enjoyed like any other pasta.
Bring a large pot of water to a boil, add the noodles and lower the heat once the water starts boiling again. Cook for 7 minutes on low heat. Cool immediately in running water if eating cold.
