Set contains*:
Yamazaki 12 Year Old (3cl)
Yamazaki is Suntory’s flagship single malt, crafted at Japan’s first and oldest malt whisky distillery. It’s gained something of a cult following, and it’s easy to see why. This is a beautifully elegant, smooth single malt that still delivers plenty of depth and character.
Hibiki Japanese Harmony (3cl)
Harmony is an ideal name for this well-balanced Japanese blend from the Hibiki range. It brings together malt whiskies from Yamazaki and Hakushu with grain whisky from Chita, matured in a variety of casks including American oak, sherry and Mizunara. Expect an elegant mix of honey, orange, gentle herbs and light oak.
Nikka Coffey Grain Whisky (3cl)
Using the two Coffey stills at Miyagikyo, brought over from Scotland in 1963, Nikka has occasionally released single cask, single grain whiskies over the years. This bottling is their broader release, showcasing a wonderfully exotic and characterful grain whisky.
Hakushu 12 Year Old (3cl)
This peated Japanese single malt comes from Suntory’s Hakushu distillery, nestled in the forests of Mt. Kaikomagatake. Established in 1973, with the Hakushu Higashi added in 1981, it delivers a fresh, forest-inspired flavour that perfectly reflects its surroundings.
Yoichi Single Malt (3cl)
The new Yoichi Single Malt replaces both the previous NAS release and remaining age-statement bottlings. With demand outpacing stock, this expression, crafted from whiskies of various ages, captures the distillery’s signature style: peated, fruity, and heated over direct coal fire.
Hatozaki 12 Year Old Umeshu Cask Finish (3cl)
This 12-year-old malt whisky from Hatozaki is a fascinating Japanese expression. It was initially matured in American oak casks before being finished for six months in barrels that previously held Umeshu liqueur, arguably Japan’s most iconic fruit liqueur, made from a native variety of small plums known as ume.
Bottle size: 3cl
