How to Grow Mizuna Japanese Mustard in the UK

Sowing Time:
Sow outdoors from March to September, or indoors for an earlier harvest.

Position:
Full sun to partial shade.

Soil Type:
Well-draining, fertile soil; amend with compost for best results.

Sowing Instructions:

  • Sow seeds thinly and cover lightly with soil
  • Keep soil moist until germination (usually 7–14 days)
  • Thin seedlings to 10–15cm apart once established
  • Water regularly to encourage tender growth
