Momoya kimchi no moto sauce is a simple way to add bold, spicy Korean-style flavour to your cooking.

It’s a ready-made kimchi base sauce, made with chilli, garlic, and vegetables, giving a rich, savoury heat with a slight tang.

You can use it straight from the bottle to make quick kimchi, or add it to stir-fries, noodles, soups, or marinades. It also works well as a dipping sauce or mixed into rice dishes for extra flavour and spice.

The flavour is well balanced - spicy, savoury and slightly sweet, making it easy to use even if you’re new to Korean-style cooking. Just a small amount is enough to bring heat and depth to a dish.

Momoya Kimchi No Moto is a ready-to-use Korean-style kimchi base from Japan that brings a spicy, tangy, savoury flavour to everyday cooking.

It’s concentrated, so just a small amount goes a long way.

Stir it into ramen, udon or noodles to add instant heat and depth, or mix it into soups, stews and hot pots for a richer, more complex flavour.

It also works really well as a marinade for meat, fish or tofu before grilling or stir-frying.

For rice dishes, try adding a spoonful to fried rice or plain steamed rice to lift the flavour.

You can also use it more creatively by mixing it into mayonnaise for dips and spreads, or tossing it through fresh vegetables like cucumber or cabbage for a quick spicy side dish.

For best results, start with a small amount and adjust to taste as you go.

Mix around 150g of sauce with 1kg of salted Chinese cabbage or vegetables to create homemade kimchi-style pickles.
