This recipe is so simple and fast but the sanbaizu gives the dish a delicious depth and interesting umami.

Ingredients

  • 3-4 excellent quality tomatoes, different varieties if possible
  • Sanbaizu vinegar
  • Olive oil

Method

  1. Simply slice the tomatoes and onion and lay out on a flat plate. 
  2. Drizzle with the olive oil and about 1 tsp of sanbaizu vinegar.
  3. Add more according to personal preference.
