Traditionally made with soybeans, wheat, salt and water. The inclusion of wheat is a key factor, giving Japanese soy sauce a slightly sweeter and more complex flavour due to the wheat's fermentation.

The brewing process is also typically longer, taking several months or even years for aged varieties. Japanese soy sauces are usually fermented naturally, with no shortcuts, leading to a deeper, richer flavour profile.

Smoked Soy Sauce:

Infused with aromatic cherry wood smoke, this soy sauce adds a deep, smoky flavour that elevates any dish, perfect for grilled meats, sashimi or even drizzled over cheese. It is extremely strongly flavoured so only a very small amount is required.

Nama Shoyu Fresh Double Fermented Soy Sauce:

2 Year Aged Soy Sauce:
