These ceramic bowls from the Utsuwa workshop in Gifu prefecture, Japan, feature the popular Japanese kawaii cat design, one in black and the other in a lovely cobalt blue. The gift set is completed with two pairs of dark wood chopsticks in a simple, stylish gift box.
Kawaii is a Japanese word that translates roughly to “cute” in English, but its meaning goes beyond just appearance, it’s the celebration of all things charmingly cute, and has a huge influence in Japanese ceramics, pop culture and design.
These bowls are extremely versatile and ideal for a variety of dishes, from rice, pasta and noodles to salad, soup, cereal or dessert.

The bowls are dishwasher safe however we recommend washing the chopsticks by hand with warm soapy water and drying thoroughly before storage.
