Mikan Juice - 750ml

This 100% mikan juice is sweet and refreshing with a deep, lasting taste, releasing the energy of the sun absorbed in the fruit during its growth on the terraced fields in Wakayama, before being harvested between October and February.

Mikan (Citrus unshiu) is one of the most popular citrus fruits in Japan, originating from the south of the country about 400 years ago. As a fruit, it is easy to peel, sweet and juicy and is also known as unshu mikan, miyagawa mandarin, cold hardy mandarin and satsuma. The latter name comes from the Satsuma region of Japan, from where it was introduced to the western world in the latter half of the 19th century.

Use mikan juice in salad dressings, sauces, desserts (such as pastries, mousses, ice cream, jelly), in cocktails or as an original and refreshing drink, either neat or diluted with still or sparkling water.
