In Hawaii, poke means "to slice" and refers to a dish made of rice with pieces of marinated raw fish, usually tuna, on top. It is served with fresh fruit and vegetables.
Soy Sauce
This Japanese vegan poke sauce is made from tamari soy sauce, toasted sesame oil and vinegar with extracts of ginger and garlic. It is the perfect accompaniment to any dishes containing raw fish, particularly tuna or salmon and delivers a rich and savoury umami flavour.
Sweet and Savoury
A sweet and savoury sauce, it is extremely versatile and can be used not only in poke bowls but also as a dipping sauce, marinade or dressing for salads, roasted vegetables and noodles.
Poke Bowl
For a delicious and healthy poke bowl, chop your favourite fresh salad ingredients such as red onions, avocado, edamame, carrots, cucumber and sesame seeds, use to top some rice and drizzle over the sauce. Add diced fresh tuna or salmon for a non vegan option.
