This beautiful miso bowl features a mottled black glaze, accentuated by a touch of shimmering iridescent blue. The firing process gives each item the distinctive dappled pattern and each piece has an individual pattern determined by the position within the kiln when firing.

Made of 'Minoyaki' porcelain, the bowl is fired at a high temperature and hand finished at the Taka kiln in Gifu prefecture, Japan.
